Infested Boulevard Trees

Many Canyon Creek residents have mentioned their trees in the boulevard area are infested with aphids and bugs. To report a dying, dead, or diseased city-owned tree in the boulevard, you need to contact the City of Missoula Urban Forestry Division.

You can submit a formal request using the City Tree Service Request form on the official City of Missoula website. This form allows you to check boxes like "tree appears dead" or "possible infestation", and you can upload photos of the tree.

Be sure to include the exact street address nearest to the tree and a brief description of the condition of the tree.

If the tree poses serious and immediate structural hazard to your immediate safety or the safety of structures surrounding it, please call the inspector immediately during office hours or 911 after hours. If any limbs are touching or leaning on power lines please call Northwestern Energy immediately at 888-467-2669 or dial 911.
